I wasn't sure what to expect. I would liken this to James Bond in space with a great ship and crew to back him up.I can see this as a series of assignments from the government just like the 007 assignments.
Would I recommend? Yes!

Sertian Princess eBook Peter Kenson Reviews
It's a fairly good book with enough twists to remain interesting. It lacks foundation information for some of the characters and events. Things happen that aren't reconciled, Enough is provided to make the book readable but more would have been helpful.
A wild ride on and intergalactic run away bus. Lots of action and laser fire crossed with the best Q could devise.
Good story line, flows well with out major (read multiple subplot interruptions) moves along well. Looks like there should be many more plots for this character set.
Good book. Engrossing plot, realistic characters with relatable personal challenges & losses. Looking forward to the next installment in the series.
a good read.
the author has done a good job with the story. the words spent building up some of the characters that were then killed seems pointless. over all it is worth reading and I would buy a follow up book to this story
There is nothing wrong about this book, but there is also nothing really right. I finished reading it, but could put it down for a week at a time without feeling the urge to get back to it (I can never do that with a really good book).
The two major flaws in what is otherwise a pretty standard space adventure are (1) two-dimensional characters, and (2) an annoying focus on irrelevant technical details that at times combines with a certain lack of technical credibility.
The dialogues try to make the characters more personable, but they never go down to a truly internal or intimate level that makes you feel you are in the head of a real person. It's all pretty stereotypical.
On the annoying technical discussion front, I'll just mention a lengthy explanation on the use of gravity fields perpendicular to each other. None of it was credible or even rooted in an ounce of technical plausibility, so why call attention to it? On the credibility front, an other less than convincing passage dealt with the use of "tractor beams" used by a small ship to tear a big one apart (last time I checked, the third law of physics would have to be violated for that to be possible).
Anyhow, I am not overly disappointed buying this book, but I wont be buying any prequel or sequel. One is enough.
I wasn't sure what to expect. I would liken this to James Bond in space with a great ship and crew to back him up.
